Muluzi calls for Calm

Former president who is also United Democratic Front (UDF) national chairman Dr Bakili Muluzi has called for calm amongst his supporters following in scenes of violences that happened yesterday, during his whistle stop tour in Mulanje and Thyolo district.
Dr muluzi made the appeal during a whistle stop tour he adressed t Mendulo in Mulanje district soon after his rally was at Goliati was distrupted by allegedly DPP supporters who were wearing DPP T-Shirts.

'I want to ask all of you to be calm. Do not get worried over what has just happened at Goliati. I know these people would like to see you fighting back. Bu i Urge you all not to do that.'

'This is a clear indication that this government knows that its time over. Let me tell you this. Not matter what kind of tricks this government use, the MCP/UDF coalition will emerge victorious come may 19 general elections.
He also is asked his UDF followers in the district to vote for Mr John Tembo who is MCP/UDF torch bearer for a better Malawi.
