Albinos Vow to take part in Malawi’s May 19 elections

Albinos in the country have vowed to exercise their right to vote in the fourth coming May 19 general elections.

This was disclosed by the albino association of Malawi president, Grace Masa during the commemorations of albino's day at the Blantyre youth center.

Masa said as the country's citizens, albinos will go in large numbers to exercise their right.

The development comes just barely two days after Democratic progressive party central region governor Mr. Bintony Kutsaira has been widely accused for his recent racists remarks he made at one of president Mutharika's whistle stop tours in Lilongwe that people should not vote for Asians.

He was referring to united democratic front candidate for Lilongwe city center Mr. Iqba Omar.

Center for human rights and rehabilitation has described the remarks as unfortunate and have called for an immediate apology to the nation by Mr. Kutsaira.
